Hello! Hello! Hello! We are moving right along with our three changes. We left off at the last meeting when we finished discussing the communion cups and started working on the coffee program. At our meeting today, we discussed the coffee program more in depth and started discussion on the Bee Houses and Wildflowers! Green Chalice Update #6
Hello everyone! This is (1) a check-in on the glass communion cups and (2) an update on our next change (Spoiler; it's the Coffee Program!) It's been two weeks since we initiated our first change; glass communion cups have been a BIG hit! Not one has broken and there haven't been any negative comments! Green Chalice Update #5
Two updates in one day!? Crazy! The Green Team just finished up and I wanted to share really quickly what we went over! As stated in the last update, the congregation picked (1)using glass cups for communion, (2)planting native grasses/flowers in some of our flower beds, (3)make/place bee houses around the outside of the church, and (4)join the Equal Exchange Coffee Program.
