Green Chalice Update #1

Hello everyone! I hope you're all doing well, I have some important updates on the Green Chalice project!

Currently in the works...

Assembling the infamous Green Team! I am currently getting ahold of folks that are interested; if you are interested and haven't let me know PLEASE REACH OUT SOON!! I hope to have our first meeting in the next week or so! At this meeting we will be talking about the project and looking over the Green Chalice Covenant (see below).

*The Green Team will have to sign this covenant on the Disciples Home page (don't worry, I will help). I would really love for the whole congregation to sign it as well!!

Future plans/time line

I would like to meet with the Green Team before our next church board meeting (October 19th). At this board meeting I would like to bring the covenant and have everyone present, sign it. Then, the congregation will need to pick three changes we can make to be more environmentally friendly!

That's all I have to update ya'll on for now. The next update will come after the Green Team meets/ when I start working on becoming a Climate Ambassador! I don't have a vlog posted for this update (yet?) but I will be working on getting vlog updates on the FCC Missoula Youtube page (https://www.youtube.com/@FCC_Missoula) eventually.
